By | Thursday, March 22, 2018

Here at TFD, we are often talking about ways you can adjust your financial life to save money. And while it is true that there are tons of different financial tools at your disposal to make it easier to save, there are also a lot of things you can be doing to ramp up your savings that can’t be done with a banking app. There are equally as many small, sneaky, non-financial ways to save money that we’re often overlooking because we’re so focused on the hard financial tools. These non-financial tools are also often super accessible to almost everyone, and easy to integrate into your everyday lifestyle without having to put in too much effort. (Sign us up for literally anything that helps save money with minimal effort!)

In this week’s video over on the TFD YouTube channel, Chelsea dives into seven non-financial tools that will help you save money, ranging from small purchases you can invest in that will have a great financial payoff to free resources that can prevent you from spending money elsewhere to get what you need, and also including a suggestion given by Mary that might make you feel like a kid again, but will definitely help you reach a savings goal. (Seriously — just try it!)

If you find yourself doing all the right things financially and still struggling to save as much as you’d like to (or simply want to save more, because really, who doesn’t?), head over to the channel and see if any of these non-financial tools might help you get where you want to be.
