We all know how important it is to continuously declutter and live a life free from things that don’t “spark joy.” But downsizing our things is often easier said than done. For instance, it can be difficult to part with items from a certain time in your life, even when they don’t reflect the person you are now. It’s also tough to get rid of things we think we might need, so we keep holding onto them.
But at a certain point, we have to accept that — for the most part — living with excess makes can make life more stressful, not easier. On this week’s episode of The Lifestyle Fix, Tasha dives into the everyday items she herself has a hard time letting go of, and why she’s finally getting rid of them. You may identify with some of the things she names. If you’ve tried time and again to become the type of person who can keep plants, but now you’re just surrounded by dead plants and no time to do better with future plants? It’s time to let go of the plants. Head over to the TFD YouTube channel to hear about the other everyday items you’re still holding onto, and why you should get rid of them today.
