6 Important Things Minimalists Are Totally Right About

By | Monday, July 22, 2019

Here at TFD, we don’t believe that there is one life or money dogma that absolutely everyone should abide by. Everyone is unique — what makes for a contented, fulfilling life for one person might be the total opposite of someone else’s idea of a good life. And that’s a good thing!

It’s also why we would never describe ourselves as prophets for the minimalist movement. A lot of people do find joy from owning a lot of things and surrounding themselves with options and memorabilia. However, there are plenty of solid life lessons anyone can learn from the tenets of minimalism. So, on our most recent episode of The Lifestyle Fix, Tasha dives into minimalist lessons that can apply to absolutely anyone. One of the most thought-provoking is not about money specifically, but rather about time. If you have a ton of stuff, you’ll spend more time with it out of necessity — either sifting through it to find something you actually need, or taking care of the maybe-too-many items you have. Time is a resource we truly can’t get more of, so taking care to curate a space that saves you energy is honestly a way to invest in yourself. Head over to the TFD YouTube channel to hear the rest of Tasha’s lessons from minimalism!
