7 30-Something Money Habits I Wish I Had In My 20s

By | Monday, January 07, 2019

Your twenties are often chalked up as a life-defining decade. You’re finally, inarguably an adult — but who among us hasn’t felt like we’re still very much figuring it out? Your twenties are important, sure, but they aren’t everything. You can’t and shouldn’t expect to have it all figured out.

That said, plenty of us will also get through our twenties and feel like we kind of squandered that period of time. There is so much pressure to do everything now — to move to that expensive city, drop everything and travel the world, only take a job that you’re passionate about. Not to mention the inherent FOMO of being young, and feeling that you must take advantage of every potential night out before your life is essentially over. But we often forget that our twenties absolutely aren’t everything, and if you have a little foresight when it comes to your job or your money, you can really make them count.

Of course, hindsight is 20/20 — we are all going to make mistakes in our twenties, and that’s okay. But the more you can anticipate potential mistakes and prepare for them, the better! In this week’s video of The Lifestyle Fix, Tasha shares the seven best habits she’s developed in her thirties that she wishes she’d mastered in her twenties. Head over to the TFD YouTube channel to check them out!
