There is something super satisfying about spending an entire day, or even a whole weekend, decluttering and organizing an area of your home. But sometimes, you just don’t have the time — you want to get your home in better shape, but you can’t dedicate hours of physical and emotional energy to it.
Luckily, there are a few things you can do to transform your messiest space and feel more at peace in your home in just a few minutes. No matter how busy we are, most of us can find a spare 15 minutes somewhere in our week. But when it comes to decluttering in a short amount of time, the trick is to pick just one small space to focus on. You won’t be able to get through your entire apartment or house in such a short amount of time — and that’s okay! Even just having one newly refreshed area in your home will do wonders for your mood and productivity.
Also, be sure to take before and after pictures of your decluttered space! You’ll feel great about seeing your progress, and more motivated to declutter the rest of your home — even if it has to wait until next week.
